March 2009 - newsletter

Hi everyone.

Apologies for a huge delay between newsletters, but the time just seems to fly by. Since last August I have been very busy shooting, but never seemed to find the time to process and update the website. There is still a lot of great photos to be put up here, but many will have wait for now. Here are a few of the latest galleries:

New horse galleries

The Queen in Slovenia

	Ironically, the first time I ever saw my queen was in another country, Slovenia. The Queen and Prince Philip visited Slovenia in October 2008. Unfortunately as the queen is a little short the only shot I got of her through the crowd was of her hat. But I did get a few shots of her hubby charming the crowd as usual. The Pust carnival in Cerknica



The pust is an annual tradition in Slovenia which has its roots in an ancient pagan festival where people dressed up to scare off winter. It's held in February all over Slovenia, and one of the biggest is in Cerknica. Click here for the full gallery

Halloween pumpkin show in Preserje


This tiny village lies just a short drive north of the capital, and every year they hold a competition to create the best sculpture from a pumpkin, which certainly seems to bring out the creativity in the locals. Click here for more photos
